TCPWave Advanced DDI Reporting

TCPWave Advanced DDI Reporting

TCPWave provides an enterprise-grade DDI reporting framework built into the core DDI product. Customers need not purchase an additional add-on device or a license for DDI reporting. The TCPWave reporting intelligence automatically collects the data from the DDI controllers. It fetches the data in the run time from the data repositories or provides fast access to the pre-populated canned reports that the TCPWave Quartz Scheduler automatically generates. The thoughtful design of each report of the TCPWave DDI solution can be termed the most advanced framework present in the DDI market today. The reports can be exported to a PDF, Excel spreadsheet, or CSV. The reports can be scheduled for periodic execution, and a global email distribution list can automatically obtain a set of recurring reports.

TCPWave's DDI provides reports that can be used by network architects, network operations, auditors, compliance management teams, change reconciliation teams, network forensics teams, etc. The reports can be used for troubleshooting various network issues since the TCPWaves DDI reporting framework can provide a clear audit history and a sequence of events that have taken place before an outage. For example, a DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) report may be used by a network administrator to determine if any excessive network traffic has caused the wide-area network links to saturate. The reports can also be generated using the CLIs and REST APIs.

At TCPWave, we consider information security as the number one priority. Our reports provide precious insight into the issue caused, the impact of the issue, the identity of the person that may have caused the issue, the timestamps of the events that caused the issue, the user's IP address, etc. With the growing number of network threats, security breaches, network exploits, vulnerabilities, etc., an enterprise must have a DDI ecosystem with robust auditing capabilities to pinpoint any event. Network forensics should be able to go back in time to produce a comprehensive post-mortem analysis of an information security breach. TCPWave meets or exceeds an enterprise's most stringent auditing requirements by providing over 90 audit reports as part of the core TCPWave DDI solution. Event and root cause analysis reports generated by a network incident management team derive a significant value add from the comprehensive reports provided by the TCPWave DDI solution.

Network capacity planning plays a crucial role in the overall stability of an Organization's network. The collection of critical analytics and presenting them into an easy-to-read and understand user interface is what the TCPWave reporting framework does. The network risk management teams can visualize the utilization trends of the DDI resources, such as the DNS queries per second, DHCP leases per second, cumulative traffic analysis, anomaly detection, etc. TCPWave assists your enterprise in identifying and mitigating potential issues before they transform into widespread network outages. The reports can be searched for a pattern match, sorted on various column types, and exported into many formats such as a CSV, PDF, XLS, etc.
